Black rock city Steampunk Tree House found a place to stay
-In 2007 i was lucky enough to be part of the burning man festival and witness the first exhibition of the fantastic steampunk treehouse, a massive metallic tree house with apparent metallic tree structure that feature steam whistle and tons of great details on the inside... a fantastic experience...today the tree house found a final home ...
The Five Ton Crane Arts Group proudly announces…!
the historic, permanent installation of…!
the beloved Steampunk Tree House!
This iconic, fully immersive work of art was the first epic creation by the Oakland based arts group Five Ton Crane. First exhibited at the 2007 Burning Man festival in Nevada, it went on to capture imaginations all over the world!
This June 2010 the Tree House will plant its permanent roots on the East Coast. Visitors can once again clamber up the trunk, peer through the spyglass, look out over the balcony, work the brass levers of the Triaparator, flap the kinetic wings of the vulture and wonder at the story behind this mysterious habitation that they have stumbled upon.
This is the first time in the history of Burning Man that a large-scale sculpture of this type, originally funded for the playa, has been permanently installed … anywhere!

Kris kuksi "nomad"
-I ran into Kris Kuski latest piece at "roq la rue" gallery in seattle this week end.
This amazingly intricate work of this artist is mind blowing .
Out of all the pieces in that space this one seems like it would have take hundreds of hours to achieve it ,while taking a look at his website i realized that his work was way more intense that i was even imagining.
I am speechless, well almost ..

BANKSY's " exit through the gift shop" Film
- This film is definitely a must see, we went to the movie preview yesterday night in seattle , i was awaiting some kind of street art documentary / banksy vision of art + good music or whatever , what i saw was just unique, revolting, interesting and well put together at the end...I have only one comment : YOU have to see it
here is a preview ..but trust me it goes way beyond what you expect .
"the story is about a French eccentric who's strange obsessions lead him to be involved with one of the most elusive groups of people in history...street artists. This inevitably leads him to Banksy and what happens to these two men when they meet is hilarious, disastrous, brilliant and astonishing all at once". mlm200

meet-greet-rinse-repeat by Troy Gua and others Seattle artists
-As part of the Art walk in Seattle every first Thursday of the month , i did my usual tour of my favorite Seattle Art Galleries and discovered meet greet rinse repeat, an exhibition created by Troy Gua and other Seattle artist , the principle is actually simple: Troy handed a Glyph to 48 different Seattle artists and ask them to express themselves on it .
The result is really nice and quite impressive .This exhibition was presented at the Monarch contemporary gallery in Seattle.
I've posted some of my favorite but i definitely encourage you to follow the link and check for yourself.
