ANT DESIGN :: EXTRUDED WOOD VASE

The Extruded Wood Vase series is part of ANT’s most current research into high-tech materials and efficient manufacturing processes. Initiated in 2004, this long-term research project lead to a material called ‘plasticized wood’ a name that references the final properties of solid wood that has gone through a new production process. The result is solid stocks of wood that can be bent into incredibly tight and complex radius’ – by hand.
