Nokta and OFF2011 by Onur Senturk

Nokta is an abstract short film project which has creative, distinctive style of production and is an improvisation of organic pieces while considering themes like power, control and luck. Using low-budget equipment and with the combination of actual camera shooting, 2d and 3d animation techniques, the film alters the reality and physics of the real world with the help of the liquid and dynamic simulations’ impact.

Year Zero. Year Alpha. Time to turn our back on the past. To just look forward. Upwards. Fearless of being blinded by the sun. It's time to set up new rules, to
invent new games. To forget about the "re-" and the "post-". To become kids again and discover the world. Another one. It's time to be revolutionary. There is
no longer a present to determine us, because the present is us. We are the future. And the future will be just like we want it to be.

2011 is OFFF's Year Zero. The year the festival will voluntarily forget its past and once again reinvent itself. In a new place. With new areas. With fresh ideas and
the spirit of those who start something. Something big. Different. Better.

From OFFF we stand up to the passage of time. We reject it. We have decided not to age. Our route page is blank. Our map, waiting to be drawn. Nothing ties us.
Nothing is forbidden. Nothing is done. There is no limit. Year Zero. Tabula rasa. Look, the dawn is breaking. It's a new day rising.

seattle pionner square art walk: carl faulkner

-CArl Faulkner is a visual artist born in eureka ca,
raised in manitou springs, and currently residing in seattle wa

Carl Faulkner art is just So violently attractive, it's definitely eye catching and mind blowing, the very soft and fluorescent colors that are all over his studio are just contrasting just the right amount with the visual energy that the models express.
proportions are perfect, models are gorgeous, and there is enough Gory, sexy craziness in here to make it unique and awesome.

Carl Faulkner's work universally captures a provocative and playful love of color. He explores themes of neoteny, sexuality, fantasy and contemporary subculture. He is based in Seattle WA, and holds his BFA from Cornish College of the Arts.

paintings captured here are : Dripping Defiance and Joyful Lasciviousness, for better quality images go visit his website through the more infos link.
